Black Sky

There are days
when I’m worn out
I feel as if I were in a long tunnel
I just feel that everything is dark
I can’t find someone to ask for help 
And I just look up into the black sky

There are countless stars
I don’t know their names
It is so cold tonight 
I don’t know how to get out there  
I just stand still alone
Stars can only shine in the dark

Nothing can steal their glitter
Nothing can wash away their heat
I just look up into the starry sky
I’ll never just pray for the sky
I’ll move forward again

There are days
when I am full of regrets
I become haunted by them all day long
I can’t go about my work
I can’t control my emotions 
And I just look up into the black sky

A quiet night sanctifies my heart
And there I find my pride
This gives me a push again and again
Stars never stop shining in the dark

Nothing can steal my glitter
Nothing can wash away my heat
I just look up into the starry sky
I’ll never just pray for the sky
I’ll move forward again
